JCR offers assistance in placement of live in au pairs or nannies.

Aupair or Nanny Live-in Placement

Placements can be made in any city of Australia for live in placements. Aupairs or Nannies can be sourced from overseas as well as Australia and New Zealand. All aupairs or nannies are required to complete an in-depth application. This includes questions as to their suitability to provide childcare and their experience in carrying out light household chores. In addition, they must provide references which are verified as well as a full resume of their work history and relevant qualifications. The referees are asked questions relating to the aupair or nanny's maturity, responsibility and ability with children. The aupair or nanny must also provide a medical certificate of good health and a Police check. All material is made available to a prospective host family. JCR offers Aupairs, Mother’s Help and Qualified Nannies.

Every effort is made to match an aupair or nanny to a family. The needs of the family and the experience and personality of the aupair or nanny are taken into consideration. JCR does its very best to present an aupair or nanny that will most likely fit with the host family's requirements and life style. We do not waste your time presenting aupair or nannys who would not be suitable.

JCR has a widespread overseas network. All overseas aupair or nannys are interviewed in the same way by our associate overseas organisations. You are therefore, assured that whether your au pair, mother's help or nanny is from Australia, New Zealand or from overseas they will have been through the same process.

JCR provides back-up and support to family and au pair alike throughout the contract period. We provide our host families with a reference guide book on hosting an au pair. The au pair is provided with a reference guide book on living in with a host family. In addition the au pair is provided with a booklet on childcare for ages birth to 12 yrs old and a super JCR t-shirt to wear. helping hands
