Age group:
18 – 30  Single people only. 2 year Working Holiday Visa.
No age limit for holders of an Ancestral or Right of Abode Visa or a British/EU Passport.
12 month commitment to a host family is preferred.
Preference is given to non smokers and applicants who have a manual driving licence.
All positions are live in.

AUPAIR OR AUPAIR PLUS

  • No formal training but should have some babysitting experience.
  • Work 25-35 hours per week.
  • Babysit 2 - 3 evenings per week
  • Duties include light housework and helping with childcare.
  • Must be able to drive, preferably a manual car.
  • 2 days free per week.
  • Earn between £80 –120 per week live in depending on age, experience and number of hours worked.

MOTHER’S HELP – most common placement

  • Requires no formal training but must have some experience in childcare. At least 200 hours as often there is an element of sole charge childcare.
  • Work for 45-50 hours per week.
  • Baby sit for 2 - 3 evenings per week.
  • Duties include caring for the children, light housework.
  • Could be some sole charge.
  • Must be able to drive, preferably manual.
  • Minimum 1 and half days free.
  • Three – four weeks paid holiday per year.
  • Earn between £125 and £200 per week, live in, depending on age and experience.

NANNIES

Select families will provide half the cost of airfare either by assistance to pay towards the cost of the ticket at the time of purchase or as a re-imbursement when arriving in the UK. The balance of the cost of the ticket will be paid as a completion bonus at the end of the 12 month contract.

  • Must have formal childcare training. Required a minimum of a Nanny Certificate OR Certificate 3 / Level 3 OR a Diploma in childcare OR have a nursery or pre-school teacher’s qualification OR have a minimum of two years of verifiable experience as a live-in care giver with infants and toddlers and are aged at least 20 years old OR be experienced in childcare as a group leader, teacher or nurse. You must be familiar with all aspects of childcare.
  • Long hours, about 60+ per week as sole-charge responsibility for the children.
  • Duties will include doing everything for the children such as cooking, bedrooms, laundry etc. Light housework could be included.
  • Babysitting by arrangement
  • Must be able to drive, preferably manual
  • Minimum one free day and one half day free per week
  • Three - four weeks paid holiday per year
  • Earn between £200 and £275 per week, live in. Pay will depend on age and experience.

The UK program is not a controlled program so rates of pay are market driven. Family requirements and the rate of pay offered will differ in each position. Ask us to tell you about various families looking. The above is a guide line only and will vary.
