You do not have to speak Italian to be an aupair in Italy, the home of fashion, design and great shopping – clothes, shoes, home wares, jewellery not to mention fantastic food! There are many wonderful sites to see: the leaning tower of Pisa, Florence, the David statue, Milan – the home of fashion, Rome – ancient ruins and the Vatican just to mention a few! Enjoy the wonderful summer sun or eat roasted chestnuts in the heart of winter!

Italian families do not provide health insurance cover but there is a reciprocal agreement between Australia and Italy that permits you to use the Italian National health scheme for the first 6 months that you are in the country.
We suggest that applicants learn some basic Italian prior to going.
Please note that the pocket money is just that. Should you wish to travel in Europe we suggest that you take additional money or a credit card with you.
